We made this card at a Workshop last evening and the ladies loved it!
What do you think of it?
The vellum card is truly beautiful! Special looking!! A fine card for many occasions.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Debbie, for your compliments. You are a special friend.
DeleteI really like this card and fortunately I have most of the supplies to reproduce this card on my own. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very easy card that looks difficult but it wasn't or I would not have made it at my last workshop. Simply because you never know if you will have new-to-stamping people there and we did have 2 as a matter of fact. Thanks for looking and commenting.
ReplyDeleteThis card is truly stunning. I am not sure how the vellum is attached at the top--is it over the fold? Did you punch the purple card with the lace punch or is it a separate piece? I'm not sure how to get the white at the bottom either--does it sandwich the vellum against the card base, making the purple lace a separate piece? I'd love to make this card at our Stampin' Your Way class!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laura! I folded the vellum at the top and only stamped 'Hello' on it; where the frame and the birds were stamped on the card stock. I used VersaMark and white embossing powder to make it pop up! I added the white lace under the Lavender Lace card stock. Like I said in my remarks, it is much easier than it looks. Thank you for your comments. This was truly one of my own creations, it was fun to make. Gayle
